Overview

While Auckland’s advanced materials sector is small, it has a significant impact on our regional economy, contributing $1.78 billion to Auckland’s GDP in 2017. The 13,700 strong workforce is supported by a strong R&D environment and talent pipeline from the University of Auckland. Auckland University of Technology, Massey University and Unitec, Institute of Technology.
